A self-taught sculptor who realizes work inspired by nature in stone, wood, and metal, as well as traditional drawing and painting media. After a career of 16 years as a first class electrical technician in Alberta, he now works at his art in Mill Bay, on Vancouver Island, BC. Owners of his work include HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, kd lang, David Suzuki, and many individual and international collectors. He has completed major commissions for the Calgary Flames (Stanley Cup Championship commemoration), and with assistance from the First Nations Fort Mackay Band, 7 larger than life-size siltstone Bison sculptures were completed for Syncrude Canada in 1995. An award-winning video, A Shared Vision, hosted by actor Tom Jackson, was produced for Syncrude by Vicom of Calgary. An amateur songwiter for decades, Brian has recently released a 8 song CD of his own compositions titled: "NO HURRY" -
