Peachland Community Arts Council

The aim of the PCAC is to stimulate, develop, and encourage all the arts (literary, visual, and performing) in our lovely Okanagan community.

We recognize the Arts as being a major contributor to the overall quality of life and economic well being of Peachland and the Okanagan. It is our aim to bring together Artists and Artisans of all media and all ages and to coordinate either their individual or group interests.

We feel it extremely important that the general public (particularly our youth) be able to participate not only in the listening to, viewing, or reading of artistic works but also in the practical expression of such.

Part of our responsibilities will lie in coordinating fund-raising activities by assisting local organizations promote their work – hence the importance of membership in our organization. We encourage all local artists to contact us and feed us their material so that through our website we can help to expose their creativity. The Internet is one of the most valuable marketing and educational tools.
