Green's Harbour Travel Guide

The fishing community of Green's Harbour is situated on the south side of beautiful, horseshoe-shaped Trinity Bay in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Local tradition tells that the large fishing settlement was named for the numerous trees in the area, which first attracted settlers in 1871.

Today, the Canadian Town of Green's Harbour provides services for small towns in the area, including a restaurant and gas bar, a medical clinic, and a modern pharmacy.

The scenery around Green's Harbour is remarkably beautiful. Recreational opportunities include boating, swimming, fishing and hiking. Visitors find two well developed RV Parks and NicNaks, a craft and gift store, which is located in a historic general store about 15 minutes from the Pitcher's Pond Golf Course.

Green's Harbour is located about 35 km from Heart's Content. It is located between Hopeall and Whiteway, on Route 80.
