Museum of Yukon Natural History/ Caribou Crossing Trading Post

5,000 square feet of Yukon wildlife exhibits and ice-age mammals, featuring a life-sized woolly mammoth, steppe bison and the world's largest bear.

(Museum)
This exhibit is being developed to raise awareness and appreciation of the wildlife of Yukon.

Many of the specimens displayed met an untimely end through natural causes or contact with man, and were donated by caring individuals. Other exhibits utilize the by-products of meat harvests, a part of Yukon culture since time immemorial.

We look at this display of the magnificent wild animals of Yukon as in a role of the highest honor, much as we have acknowledged the heroes of our species throughout history. We invite you to join us by attending this viewing facility and expanding on your knowledge and appreciation of our "Wild Yukon".
