The Yukon Arts Centre (YAC) is a not for profit charitable organization dedicated to the development of the arts as an important cultural, social and economic force in the Yukon. We intend to be model for the development of the arts in the North and a stimulus for a vibrant and creative territory. YAC is the territory’s premier venue for performing and visual arts.

The 428 seat proscenium theatre boasts outstanding acoustics and top-of-the line technical support to provide an exceptional experience for performers and audiences alike.

YAC is increasingly a major presenter in Canada. The Art Lover’s Series showcases some of the most rewarding performances from the national art scene, but we do not stop there. From hip-hop to dance, from cutting edge theatre to national and international headliners, each new season surpasses the previous one. We can’t stop ourselves.

The 4,200 sq. ft. Public Art Gallery is the only A-Grade facility in the North. The Gallery hosts exhibitions all year long, and showcases northern, national and international artists. We bring up the best in contemporary art and bring out the best in Yukon art.

The Yukon Arts Centre is, above all, a creative partnership with all groups committed to art in all its forms, from exibiting and presenting to education, from plastic and visual arts to dance, drama and music of all genres. Consult our on-line calendar to see what is happening at the Yukon Arts Centre on any given night, on any given month. You’ll be impressed. We are!
