The Fairview Pioneer Museum is located 1 kilometre north of Fairview on Highway 732 and then east at the Cummings Lake Campsite and Recreation sign.
Fairview Pioneer Museum contains a variety of old buildings, including the Macdonald and Scotswood Schools, the Malkinson Building (Fairview Agencies and Notary Public), UGG grain elevator office, a large storage shed, a pole shed, as well as vintage machinery and vehicles. Currently, the majority of the artefacts are in the Macdonald School, while the other buildings under restoration. Displays include a hospital bed and equipment, barber’s tools, office furniture, tools, school texts, manuals, novels, atlas, attendance records, licence plates, household items (Wringer washers, cookware, furniture, and baby’s things) toiletries, newspapers, computers, and even the horse from Hemstock’s.
