I am a digital artist, creating my images by painting with a pen tablet and computer, augmented with scanned sketches & my own photographs. I believe art needs to engage the observer intellectually, emotionally or spiritually and either tell a story or evoke a question. Therefore, I explore religious, political, spiritual and emotional themes and I frequently include people or the affect of people in my images. Faces, buildings, machines, man-made artifacts and handicrafts are common elements in my work, along with abstract shapes and patterns. [Below: "Burn Out"]
