Like individual people, statues evolve in their beauty through circumstance and time. Each stain and chip gives new character and meaning to their faces. Rich textures and colours are explored and used to enhance the emotions each face conveys.
My desire as an artist is to give lifelike expression to my image and engage the viewer in feelings of the vulnerability and transience of life, as well as reflecting on it’s beauty.
