Maureen (Moe) Reilly is an award-winning embroiderer, who uses a mixed media approach in a complex & challenging way to create a 3-D backdrop for her life-like needle painted subjects. Her subjects are executed in a variation of hand embroidery, often described as "needle painting", "thread painting" or "embroidery painting". Crafting fine art from fabric & thread, her spirit lies in the joy of creating an awareness of the skill of embroidery as an art form begging to be rediscovered!
