Terri has made Victoria, Vancouver Island her home in the last year, and has lived all over the Island, including Nanaimo and Courtenay, as well as Coquitlam, Vancouver, Calgary, Hawaii, and most recently Toronto.
She has always enjoyed painting as a hobby. From 2007 - 2009 she attended an art program at Central Technical Institute in Toronto. It was here that she discovered her love her love of printmaking, collographs, monotypes and woodcut block printing.
Terri does both representational and abstract painting. Everything she paints she has some association with... whether she has photographed it or created it through intuition, which is a process she is honing with teacher Susanne Dannenberg on the GoBC site. The idea of creating a painting, with only a few cues, and then watching it morph into something is an amazing journey, and one that she is following more and more.
