Gilbert Plains is situated on the Valley River, in the parkland country between Riding Mountain National Park and Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The Canadian Town in Manitoba, Canada has a population of approximately 750 and lies on Highway 5 and the CN railway line, between Dauphin and Grandview, or about 250 miles NW of Winnipeg.
