A Visual Arts Committee oversees the selections of the artists. The exhibitions are scheduled for approximately a two-month time period, subject to other activities in the theatre. The selection of artists is scheduled for early June of each year.
High attendance to performances at the theatre ensures that exhibitions receive good visibility.
The Gallery offers a $500 fee to each selected artist. The Gallery sends out invitations to the art opening, in addition to paying all other expenses related to the opening and insuring the promotion of the art exhibit. The selection committee is composed of Georges Blanchette, Georges Goguen, Nancy King-Schofield, Denise Auffrey, Marc Chouinard and Kim Rayworth-Landry. The Gallery does not require a commission on the sales of any of the works on exhibition. Artists are required to hang and dismantle their own show, in collaboration with theatre staff.
