The fishing community of New Harbour in the Canadian Province of Newfoundland and Labrador has a long and interesting past. Artifacts have been discovered linking New Harbour to the Maritime Archaic Indians. Anderson's Cove is a site of the Maritime Archaic Indians from 4000 to 5000 years ago. Artifacts are displayed at the Sealing and Whaling Museum in South Dildo, and the Interpretation Centre in Dildo.
