ACADIA CINEMA'S AL WHITTLE THEATRE

The Acadia Cinema Cooperative Ltd. (ACC) is a non-profit community cooperative (est. 2002) that was created for the purpose of purchasing and refurbishing the Acadia Cinema building on Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. The initial goal: to create a 160 seat state of the art Al Whittle Theatre for film and live performance with a café on the premises. In partnership with Just Us! Coffee Roasters Co-op., and with the Fundy Film Society as anchor tenant, the facility has been available to patrons, presenters and shareholders since November 2004.
