The Barrie Art Club was founded in 1949 in the city of Barrie Ontario Canada. Over the past half century it has grown into a vibrant community resource for artists, professional or amateur, and artists-at-heart (those wanting to learn or just wanting to appreciate).
It is an organization that is proud of its volunteers. These members take care of the daily running of this non-profit organization, plan and implement its programs, publish a monthly newsletter, maintain the BAC gallery and still have time to create and submit works to shows held monthly in the gallery. Members may contribute a lot or a little time and it's always appreciated.
