Timber Village Museum
(Museum)
Showcases the rich history and heritage of the people of Blind River and local North Channel Communities.
(Museum)
Originally built as a Centennial project in 1967, with the original artifacts from the McFadden Lumber Company, the museum houses a collection of lumbering and logging memorabilia, testament to the largest pine sawmill east of the Rocky Mountains.
Visitors enjoy both indoor and outdoor exhibits, a variety of programs, changing local artist exhibitions as well as a fully stocked gift shop.
Visit us in Blind River on Hwy 17, just east of the Northern Ontario Logging Memorial. Ample auto and bus parking, picnic area, and public washrooms are at the adjacent North Shore Travel Centre.
