With over 150 voices, the TMC is uniquely able to perform grand symphonic choral works the way they were intended. Audiences enjoy sacred and secular masterpieces performed in beautiful churches and stunning concert halls. Under the direction of Noel Edison, the 2009/10 season features five concerts: Handel’s Israel in Egypt in October; the annual Festival of Carols and Toronto’s favourite Messiah in December; Sacred Music for a Sacred Space on Good Friday, and a Night at the Opera in April featuring favourite arias and choruses.
