North Battleford in Saskatchewan is an oasis on the prairies. Centrally located on the Yellowhead Highway (No. 16) between Lloydminster and Saskatoon, the Town of Battleford is primarily an agricultural service centre with a vibrant manufacturing sector. Battleford is nestled between the banks of the scenic North Saskatchewan and Battle Rivers and offers an abundance of recreation opportunities. Finlayson Island provides residents and visitors a chance to see nature in its full bloom as well as year-round activities from cross-country skiing and walking trails to fishing and picnicking.

Located in Town, are numerous ball diamonds, soccer field, arena, curling rink and paddling pool. Kramer Campground located between the Fred Light Museum and the Fort Battleford National Historic Site contains 74 campsites, with 36 electrified sites.

Table Mountain Regional Park, one of the province's top-rated alpine ski areas is located only 20 minutes west of Battleford. Also located just minutes away are two challenging, natural terrain, grass-green golf courses. The Battlefords Provincial Park located only 20 minutes north of Battleford, plays host to activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, camping as well as a top-rated 18-hole golf course and convention centre.
